Your very first diving experience! The Discover Scuba Dive is a 2- hour introduction of scuba diving while under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.
This is a fun, beautiful and memorable way to see all the nice corals, many different fish and all the other underwater creatures. You will get a briefing that includes an explanation about the dive equipment and several skills. After these skills, you are ready to take a nice dive at our stunning house reef “Stella Maris” at Mambo Beach, Curacao. After this dive, you now know if scuba diving is something for you!
Learn to dive and get your PADI Open Water!
Is it your dream to explore the fascinating underwater world with all the creatures in it and to learn how to dive? You’re at the right place! Let’s get your certification with our PADI dive center BLVD Divers at Mambo beach.
During this 2-day course you will do:
- Theory, we will send you the E-learning, which you can do at home at your own pace prior the course.
- Practice all the skills in the shallow confined water area in front of the beach. With one of our experienced instructors.
- 4 open water dives were you will apply the newly learned skills and see the beautiful house reef of Mambo Beach “Stella Maris” were we have the Coral nurseries.
After these 2 days, you will get your PADI certification and you’re ready to explore the underwater world.
Explore the beautiful underwater world of Curacao & book your guided dive now! Here at BLVD Divers we have a stunning house reef “Stella Maris” right in front of the beach. It’s possible to go 2 ways for a big variety of fish, corals and other amazing creatures.
When you turn left you will see a fish feed area with a coral nursery. Just a little bit further there are loads of rock piles down to 5m/ 15ft deep, with the most amazing big creatures waiting to be found. Below 5m/ 15ft the beautiful healthy reef with all sorts of coral will drop down up to 50m/ 165ft.
When you turn right there will be a sand plateau from 4m/13ft to 8m/26ft were the big coral nursery is found, this is where the Coral Restoration Foundation Curacao grows nursery trees to help our reefs. From 8m/26ft the reef starts with all the beautiful corals and some metal gliders here and there.
You will be guided by one of our PADI professionals who can show you and tell you all about our house reef and the fascinating marine life living in it.

Help us to catch the invasive species Lionfish on Curacao! Do you want to know how to hunt the Lionfish?
During this experience, we will tell you all about the Lionfish and why it’s so important to hunt them here on Curacao. You’ll get a short introduction about our hunting gear, and after the introduction, you will do 1 dive with one of our PADI professionals to identify and catch Lionfish. After the dive, you can even take your own caught Lionfish with you for a fantastic lunch or dinner!
Refresh Dive
Let’s get back to scuba diving! The Refresh dive is a 2- hour program to get your knowledge up-to-date under the guidance of one of our PADI professionals.
This is a nice way to get back into scuba diving. You will get a briefing about the dive equipment, dive site, communication, and several skills. After the briefing, our PADI professional will guide you through the dive from beginning to the end of the dive. You will do several skills and a nice dive on our beautiful house reef “Stella Maris”. After this dive, you will be comfortable enough to start diving again and to fill up your logbook with all the dives you’re going to make.
Night Dive at Mambo Beach
Explore at night! Do you want to see different creatures than during the day?
How about diving in the dark with a dive torch to see and explore our house reef “Stella Maris” and all the stunning marine life. Start your dive at 18:30 and find out what kind of wonderful creatures are more active at night.
PADI Enriched Air Diver (NITROX)
PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course! Do you want to make more dives on a day or to stay longer underwater? Then this is a perfect specialty for you! Diving with enriched air will give you a longer bottom time.
In this course you will learn how to:
- Handle with exposure to oxygen.
- Analyze the oxygen percentage in a dive tank.
- Set up the oxygen percentage in your dive computer.
PADI Ocean Reef Full Face IDM Diver
Take your diving to a whole new level! Be amazed about the comfort and ease of breathing with the Ocean Reef full-face diving mask.

PADI Digital Underwater Photographer
Do you have ever wanted to tell your friends about that dive with the beautiful manta ray or the stunning reef shark, but they didn’t believe you because you don’t have proof?
Now it’s time to learn how to make the best proof there is with the PADI UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY specialty. Whether you use a point-and-shoot camera or a sophisticated DSLR camera, you’ll learn how to make the best picture by one of our PADI underwater photographers.
During this 2 dive course you will know how to:
- Choose the right underwater camera system for you.
- Use the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine and Adjust) method for getting those award-winning shots quickly.
- Adjust the principles for good composition of underwater images.
- Use practical techniques to take great photos with your camera.
PADI Dive Against Debris Diver
Have you ever been disturbed by the number of fishing nets, plastic and all the other debris while scuba diving? During this course, you will gain the knowledge and skills to help to clean the ocean in a professional and safe way. You’ll learn to complete Dive Against Debris surveys under the guidance of one of our PADI professionals and to remove the debris safely. This course consists of a theory session and one dive.
PADI Invasive Lion Fish Tracker
The Lion Fish is an invasion in the Caribbean Sea. Because they are originally not from here they don’t have a natural enemy what causes too many new-laid eggs and a lot of new Lionfishes. Because of this, the Lionfish disturbs the balance in our sea. During this course, you’ll get to know all about the hunting gear and the best way to catch the Lionfish. After the theory part, you’ll do 2 dives to identify and hunt. After the dives we will explain how to prepare the Lionfish, so you can take your own caught lunch or dinner home!
